Today is J. Alfred Prufrock Day!

I almost missed it, but my trusty poem-a-day calendar reminded me that today is T.S. Eliot's birthday, which means it's J. ALFRED PRUFROCK DAY!
This is a day for me and my fellow English Lit classmates from high school to celebrate our love of poetry by reading The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.
You can read my previous posts celebrating J. Alfred Prufrock Day here, here, here and here.
So ... Do you dare to eat a peach?

Walking groggily to the bathroom this morning after a night of long, deep sleep, I glanced down to discover that my pajama legs had rolled themselves to mid-calf during the night, no doubt from my legs churning as I slept. My first thought: "I grow old. I wear my trousers rolled." I had no idea it was Prufrock Day until I opened your Website. Happy P.D. to one and all! --- Gerry

Wow. I remember the days when I used to like reading Prufrock...that was before having to read it 134,345 times and applying postmodern theory to it.
